Tech Advisor has searched out the very best Oral-B electric toothbrush deals available for the Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2024 sale.
This year, Black Friday falls on Friday 29 November. Some sales will last for the day itself, some will continue over the weekend and into Cyber Monday, on 2 December. Some great deals have already dropped. But which ones are they?
Buying an Oral-B electric toothbrush in the UK is more complicated than you might imagine. New Oral-B brushes (especially the iO line) regularly launch with an inflated price – sometimes up to twice what you should pay – and twice the US price, for example. Then, during sales periods, their prices drop dramatically, giving you the impression you’re making huge savings when you may just be paying an average price.
We keep an eye on pricing, so we can spot the best deals available and let you know how much you’re really saving when you buy on sale.
Besides that, it’s hard to tell models apart. Why is one iO brush worth £100 and another worth just £60? Tech Advisor has reviewed all the iO electric toothbrushes, and most of Oral-B’s other models. You can check out our complete iO guide to find out what features each brush has and learn the differences between them.
For our top recommendations across all Oral-B models, have a look at our best Oral-B round-up. And to see all the tech deals chosen by the team, visit our UK Black Friday hub and our UK Deals page.
Top Oral-B electric toothbrush deals for Black Friday 2024
Ignore the on-page discounts, which tend to be wildly inflated. We work out the discount from each brush’s commonly available or average price, rather than its launch price. The % discounts below are what you should believe, not the often inflated drops shown on retailers’ pages. Just because the numbers aren’t as eye-catching, however, doesn’t mean it’s not a good deal.
- Oral-B iO3 – £49.99 at Currys (33% off) – read our review of the iO3
- Oral-B iO5 – £89.99 at Amazon (36% off) – read our review of the iO5
- Oral-B iO6 – £109.99 at Currys (27% off) – read our review of the iO6
- Oral-B iO7 – £125 at Boots (17% off) – read our review of the iO7
- Oral-B iO8 – £134.99 at Currys (21% off) – read our review of the iO8
- Oral-B iO9 – £200 at Boots (20% off) – read our review of the iO9
- Oral-B iO10 – £299.99 at Amazon (41% off) – read our review of the iO10
All of the above are excellent models, and all the sales prices roughly as low as we’ve seen them. We’ll add more models to the list above when price drops over the sales period make them more attractive.
Should I wait until Black Friday to get an electric toothbrush deal?
In some cases, prices will be as low as they’re going to get. In others, they may drop further on Black Friday itself.
Increasingly, we’re finding that some brands begin lowering prices well in advance and that you’re safe to buy without waiting for Black Friday itself. The advantage here is that you can your first-choice items without worrying about stock selling out. Look for a price guarantee sticker by the item you want to buy if you’re concerned that you might not get the best price.
Another good tip is to find the electric toothbrush you’re checking out on Amazon and enter its product URL on Camelcamelcamel. Then you can see how its current price compares to its average price and recent sales day discounts.

Top Black Friday Oral-B electric toothbrush alternatives
Oral-B is one of the biggest electric toothbrush brands for a reason. Its iO brushes in particular have incredible feature sets and deliver a brilliant brushing performance.
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t cheaper alternatives that would do an equally good job at keeping your teeth clean, or less expensive ways to get iO features including a choice of brushing modes, an on-handle screen, visible pressure sensor – or find a brush with features iO brushes don’t have, such as USB charging.

- If you’ve planned your spending and think a current deal price offers good value for money, don’t hang on too long! The best deals tend to go out of stock quickly. If you do miss an item you want, don’t buy an alternative in a panic. Check other retailers for your first choice or consider a returned item from Ebay.
- Some retailers offer a Black Friday 2024 price promise and will refund the price difference if you bought early and the discount deepened later on.
- Don’t get caught up in the excitement! If an item wasn’t on your wish list when it was full price, don’t buy it just because it’s a bargain.
- The cheapest product or retailer isn’t always the best. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. We will only recommend deals we’d grab ourselves.

- If you’re buying from Amazon, eBay or another marketplace vendor, check out the seller’s credentials and ratings and decide whether you trust them.
